Santander 2yr Fixed - Can I have 2 accounts?

I opened a Santander 2yr fixed account in March 2012 by transferring my existing 2011/2012 allowance. As part of the T&C of the account I was able to pay in my 2012/2013 allowance into the account during a short window after 6th April which I did.
I now have another ISA from 2010/2011 tax year (which is just coming out of a fixed window) which I need to find a home for. I know I am not allowed to transfer this into to the existing Santander 2yr fixed account, but I was wondering if I am allowed to open another new separate Santander 2yr fixed account for this money?
Has anyone else done this?

Haven't done it myself but can't see any reason why you can't have more than one of these to receive transfers from other providers0 -
The information on the online application was unclear and it made you declare you didn't have an existing ISA for this tax year, which of course I did. For this new ISA I was not putting in any new money into the account as it was all from previous years, but the questions didn't seem to allow this.
Anyway I called Santander and asked them if it was ok and they said it was, so I opened the account on the phone.
I have sent off the transfer form back to Santander, so now need to wait for the money to be moved across.0 -

Thanks for the report back. Hope the transfer goes smoothly0
