They use 6 companies, one of whom is Rightmove apparently. I have never heard of Rightmove but feedback on internet is good so thanks for that tip pmlindyloo.
I have told her to try it and see. They are cheaper than 8 others online, no negative feedback ( only 2 positive but thats 100%, right!)
I wasnt aware of internet based EAs but it does seem to be a big business so I am slightly happier now.
I will let you know how it goes.

Everything and everyone, in all forms of services and industries are moving to 7-day operation now - including EAs, in my part of the world, anyway.0 -

You may be in an area where Rightmove doesn't hold the majority of properties which are available on the market. Whilst it dominates in much of E&W, it doesn't have the same influence in Scotland, for instance.0 -
Evening,
I found a non-comission EA, in leicester. I had been on the market for a year with a traditional EA, lots of viewings but no sale.
Then, when I had moved over, paid up front, sold it on the first viewing with the new agent. Result- saved over £2000.
Scour what's already there locally before trying online agents.

Thats eMoov off my list !!!
Rang 2 'traditional' estate agents today. One was supposed to call me back in 10 mins but still hadn't 2 hours later so I called again and lady got stroppy so thats off my list. The other only does 10am - 4pm viewings 5 days a week and gentleman said 2 of them do the viewings and it can be 10 working days from phone call to the actual viewing due to high demand. So thats a no!
2 more to ring tomorrow then if no joy, on to the online agent

Found this thread while searching for Property Eagle, much like you were in post #5, OP.
Did you use them in the end? Any good?0 -
We used an estate agents which were pay upfront last year paid £400 + £50+vat for a premium listing on rightmove. We got one viewing in 9mths , they took the money and did a runner basically, they never bother to make the effort after all would you? If you got 50% of your wages on day one of the job would you bother to work the whole month?
Their business model is to get houses on the market to get the money it isnt focussed on selling like a regular agent is. To them it's more important to get 20 houses on the market and sell none where as a regular agent will sell 10 houses and make more money. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it right but basicaly I would avoid like the plague.
All agents can be haggled down, you can offer up sole agency for a fee reduction. Tell them you have 2 agents in mind but you require a 1% fee or similar. I managed to get ours down from 2% to 1.3% which saved us a bit and helped us.
If it helps to compare weve been on 3 weeks and had 3 viewings with the new agent. With the old one we were on 9mths and only 1 viewing. Our new agent calls with updates and to see how were feeling about it all each week. The old one we never heard from and had to continuously chase.
I hope it helps to make your mind up, by all means check them out but in my experience I would steer clear.0
