Do you mean the marker points have moved from the left to the right of each date, the legend has moved, the Y axis has switched sides, or that all of the data now doesn't align with the dates?
Or something completely different?
Would suggest just doing select data and reselecting both data, and axis labels as a starting point!

Have you accidentally selected to "plot on secondary axis"? (thought you needed more than one data series to do this though)
If reselecting has put you back to square one, have you then redone the text labelling on the axis - did this switch the axis again?
In all honesty, I would probably just build the graph again from scratch, and then reselect the text format for the axis.
I built a very basic version in order to answer the questions and mine seems spot on."We can all fly as high as the dreams we dare to live...........unless we are a chicken" ~ Anon.0 -
Just one more thing!! (I feel like Columbo!)
Did you accidentally change the "Vertical Axis Crosses" to "At Maximum Category" when editing the X Axis?
This would have the exact same impact - check that it is set to "automatic""We can all fly as high as the dreams we dare to live...........unless we are a chicken" ~ Anon.0 -
Indeed.Sounds very much like something Microsoft would do!
After a bit of experimentation it seems it only works if dd in the initial value is 31. So if your initial date happens to be 30/06/2008 then all subseqent dates are shown as 30/mm/yyyy, except for February which is shown as 28 or 29. So each dd shown appears to be Min(initial dd, days in that month). I guess that makes some sort of sense.Stompa0 -

I didn't do that, honest!!! It somehow did it itself lol
I'm running 2007 and I swear my version is haunted, things that are perfect just seem to go all over the shop for no reason!
Thank you both for your help, I think I am all sorted now :T:T:T0 -

Woohoo!!
I was starting to get concerned that I would spend all day playing with this rather than doing my job
There is no way I would have been able to let this go! "We can all fly as high as the dreams we dare to live...........unless we are a chicken" ~ Anon.0 -

I can't get that to work at all, I started with initial date as 31 and it still won't do it.
Only way mine works is to have text labels instead of auto/date. Any other settings show as the 1st.
Oh well, I imagine it'd work just fine if I tried it tomorrow!"We can all fly as high as the dreams we dare to live...........unless we are a chicken" ~ Anon.0 -
