Anyone else ever signed up to do a shop only to be served by a friend / someone you know who knows you MS?

    That was akward.

    Kind of.

It was a bank enquiry and the lass on the counter spoke about the account and said "I'd pass you over to ..... over there as she is the personal banker, but she's with a customer at the moment." Looked round and it was the mother of one of my sons school friends and I didn't know she worked there! I said it was ok, so the counter lass explained the account and gave me the personal bankers number for if I wanted to make an appointment to discuss the account further or open it.

Managed to sneak out without the PB noticing me, as she knows I do mystery shopping and would have guessed! Another mother I know has since joined the bank and the pair of them both move round branches in the area, so I just avoid that bank altogether now!

Also been served by a friend of my Mam's in a shoe shop so I got special treatment and it was all "eeeeh how are you? How's the bairns doing?" etc. Had to fess up to the MS company and avoid that branch in future waves.
Here I go again on my own....

So far I have never seen anyone I know in ms jobs but I always wondered, what if you bump into someone you know in gap burger job?? As they say not to bring anyone, they could accuse you of arranging to meet them there. How would you react? Ignore them lol

Well, I guess that makes a change from the likes of Gapburgers, where they pretend they don't know, and we pretend we don't know that they are pretending they don't know! :rotfl::rotfl:

Best Gap I have done is where I walked up to the counter and made my order the member of staff shouted ' Gap ' so loud the whole restaurant heard.

Sweetie, they go on in batches. I think it's the Midlands today. It will be the South a day or three after, followed by the North. HTH.
