I've not taken anything with MF for ages now.

Just done a railway visit and remembered why I usually avoid them...

Was the member of staff presentable and in full uniform - Yes or no option

And then a compulsory comment box if you tick yes !!!!!!.

Only soothed by the rather nice pasty :rotfl:

But really the whole questionnaire is like that, compulsory comment boxes for yes no answers.

Video shoppers, what is the minimum spec camera I should be looking for?
I've got a Lawmate PV-500 PVR, just need to source a cam that doesn't cost the earth.

Normally the BU18 or 13. People usually buy the kit altogether and mostly from the same supplier. I don't even know if you can use other cameras with it. Remember you are also needing the high-gain microphone. The kt can be VERY temperamental so take care selecting your camera.

Mmm that was what I meant by costing the earth ;-)

I picked up a cheap PVR but the cam that came with it is a head mounted security style cam and I'm looking to get up and running quickly and cheaply with a view to investing in something like the BU18 as the fees come in.

Don't the mic's come with the camera?
Maplins have a button cam for £60.

The maplins one is !!!! and the cord is not long enough... Lawmate are actually rolling out a new system as the 500 is being discontinued.

However the BU18 is good its not HD but you don't need HD and is pretty darn cheap.

You won't get the jobs without the right cam

    The cam is roughly 130ish

I think we're both hinting that it's a false economy not getting the right kit. You have to travel widely with video work and the fuel alone for some of the jobs will really cost you if the vid is rejected.

I was at the TERN seminar where someone was very scathing about the cost of kit but it's very high spec and with the mic being under your own chin, it has to be high gain to hear the MoS.

Its more a pharmacy than a beauty shop.

Do you mean HERE COME THE GIRLS? That one? If so, I saw it last time and I am not a lady.
