I'm seriously impressed the speed Tern are turning round these glasses payments, many MSC's could take a few things from them...

I agree BG only wish they had more work! I've decided that MSing needs to pay for my holidays each year. It's flamin hot here in Egypt and
They definitely need some better customer service
Standards! I'm even looking at name badges of

Anyone ever exchanged anything they purchased after doing a RE/MF sporty riot shop? If so, do you get moaned at and barred?

I ended up buying the first thing for the reimbursement. I would quite like a new pair of trainers, so if it was allowed, I could exchange the t shirts and pay some on top to get the trainers. I phoned RE/MF today and got some doughnut that didn't know what I meant. She sounded a bit thick!

I'm not going for a refund, merely an exchange. Anyone?

No Mimi, but I did sell the T-Shirts I bought for more than I paid for them anyway. Good old Ebay! Was just before Christmas though which may have helped, and I remember one went to a random little country somewhere!

Is the HMRC expenses rate for printing still 6p per page. Or rather was it last tax year, so 2011-12?
For some reason I just cannot find it for love nor google :s:(

I'm using 8p, the local print place charges 10p a sheet but makes 2p per sheet profit (I asked) so that is the figure I use.

Of course the local print shop will include an amount for labour in their figures so the 6ppp that HMRC usual use is about right.

Personally I don't use an amount per sheet anymore i simply use the actual cost of materials (and a write down of the initial cost of the printer). This is acceptable to HMRC and takes in to account the printer needing replacing every couple of years.

    So it's still 6p - thanks BuN.
(Big Graeme - you might want to change your figures to use the right value, as that is the allowable rate from HMRC. I know it's literally pence we're talking but in case of a random audit or anything at tax return time, you wouldn't want to have something so trivial wrong.)

I use my printer loads but for all sorts of different things, so would find it really difficult to attribute an accurate proportion of the use, therefore costs, to MSing, hence preferring to just use the number of pages actually printed.
