Finding it all ok but I am a bit unsure of what happens about payments for some of the companies. I have done work for International Service Check, Amber Arch, Retail Active, Grass Roots, Market Force, GFK, Tern and React. Apart from Market Force I am struggling to find information on their websites and my account about payments that are due and when they are due. I've read the first post on here so I have a rough idea but I noticed a few of you posting when payments are pending. How do you find this out?
Thanks
Welcome! Some people have "psychic bank accounts" that show pending payments for the next day. It's not notification from the company unfortunately.0 -
I'm just waiting for mimi to respond to this one
I really can't be bothered. I simply asked on here if I would be entitled to anything which obviously I am not, and that is fine. I don't recall going to B and Q and unjustly pressurising anyone. I called them, and they said no. Simple as.
I like this forum and the people who use it. I'm only young and I know users on here have oodles of knowledge and advice, so I asked a question. I don't think I caused anyone any harm, well apart from one person!
Thanks to everyone for their tips and advice, and for sticking up for me. You're all lovely.;)

Thanks for your reply. So I guess it's just a case of wait and see for most of them then.
Does anybody have any experience with International Service Check? I applied for them off a Jobcentre search and did two jobs in quick succession. The reports were approved and rated very good but that's the last I heard. I had no response to an email I sent them.0 -

Only ever did one job for them, took 3 months to get paid so never bothered again0 -

I've never had problems getting paid, the only reason I don't bother with them now is the fact that they require a report AND a questionnaire - the latter asking for information that you've already put in the former. So by the time you've done those after the visit itself, training, etc, it usually comes to well under NMW. No thanks!0 -

GfK pays on the same dates as MF, except the payments actually go in your account that day - if you worked between 10th-24th of last month, you should have had something from them today. I'm not sure what the specific pattern is for the other companies, but I've never waited much beyond 4 weeks/a month.0 -

I agree with HeavensDevil, the reports are a pain and take ages to do as it refreshes after every page. I also found that with one building society they seem to credit score you even when you've said that you've just come in for a leaflet.
This happened to me in two different branches. As I'd given fake details (as per the brief) it make it very awkward. In a third branch, the staff member checked the electoral role (without asking) and announced that I did not live there. Again, very embarassing. And if I'd been a genuine customer I would not have been happy either as I was not applying for an account, just asking for some information.0
