I've entered simple ESA and GAP reports on a Galaxy Tab but TBH I think reports that need narratve are most probably best done with a keyboard. Some tablets have a keyboard accessory, ASUS is one.
Mimi I am a big fan of ALDI face cream at £3 a pot!:)
You can get one for most tablets inc iPad. It's just a Bluetooth keyboard that forms part of a case. I bought one but never use it0 -
Has anyone done the seaside petrol audits on Gap? I've just been accepted onto the audit panel and wondered how long the jobs really take? All three available to me are small shops so I can't see they'd take over an hour.0

I can do these in around 45 minutes - it's mainly planogram checking. I ask the MoS to get the documents/in-store promotional guide pulled together as I am doing the initial temperature checks, then whizz through the planograms. I photograph any issues and the relevant planogram from the in-store manual instead of taking notes as it speeds up the process. The reports are really quick as well.0

I personally do not like the idea of doing a report on a tablet.
Would do it on a netbook (small laptop 11") or ultrabook (extremely fast 13" laptop"). I will probably get one when 4G is released in the UK (much faster than 3G, more like broadband speed on your mobile/device)This is a system account and does not represent a real person. just had a call from gap asking to do a chicken job
he didnt have much scope for increasing the fees though so dont even expect to be offered 2 times the fee unless you can some how get him to increase
thought it may have been from australia as he sounded half asleep, but checked the dialing code +39 and it was Italy0 -

Nah, they are definitely in Australia, but are using voice over IP and can route the call through any country - Italy is obviously the cheapest at the moment but they've used Egypt before and others. We’ve had to remove your signature. I hardly ever get desperate calls from gap anymore. Spoke to someone about the special projects that they put on couple days back. Said that there are plenty of shoppers in my area which isn't good for me holding them to ransom! I also missed out on the special project pity as the money was goodWell, you can tell by the way I use my walk

Were they ringing people ref this special project, I was getting calls from them but didn't pick up as assumed they were begging for burger jobs to be done and I'm burgered out at the moment!0
-
Has anyone heard of Gap banning people from certain jobs? I've just noticed I can't select any burger jobs and the client name box is empty...0
-
Yup they fire people from certain clients all the time. Welcome to the club. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
