isnt it an intemised vat receipt with the items ordered on though they need not just the one showing payment?
you may still need to ask for a separate vat receipt as a card payment receipt is separate...and from my experience no guarantee youll get that either as it is often just left on the printer and when I ask for it, they have to sort through about 10 receipts to find mine...

For the locations that don't give a tax receipt as standard, if I pay by card I just get the card receipt not a tax receipt, so still have to ask.

DP is right, they are able to provide a receipt from the till or at least write one out so they told you porkies.

Anyone seen the state of the fee for the MF shoecupboard jobs?
It's on par with RA electricals!

And thats where it'll stay in my book. They'd want to X4 the fee and give me a decent reimbursement to go to that particular retailer given their reputation in the states.

Caught Thor and the 2 Iron Man ones beforehand. Gotta see Cap'n A and Hulk now. I gotta say I am LOVING the new hulk. Particularly his reaction to Thor in Grand Central, the entire cinema ERUPTED with laughter. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Few of us had a moan about it yesterday. They took it from another MSC and reduced the fee by 80%.

...But there are people that are willing to do the job. Its at least a 20-30 min visit if done properly and the scenario is exactly the same as before so will be a typical MF report, another 20 min, for less than the price of a gyp meal. The reimbursement means you can't buy anything more useful than socks.

I was one of those who made reference to the drastic fee reduction - are they in competition with Retail Active to see who can take the mickey most with the fee? They're doing well, I must say!

Also, thanks for the movie tips! I've just moved onto a new network thanks to advice I've picked up from MSing, and keen to make the most of the offers available!

Oh, elaborate please! I can't imagine our Yankee cousins think much of them, if that's how they want to treat their British customers/shoppers!

The real problem is that these companies' keep moving the jobs! People keep taking them and as long as they do the fees will keep reducing.

I don't mind low fees in some instances, for example the RA drugs where you can pick up a dozen or so and they take minutes to do but when there is some convoluted scenario followed by an even more convoluted report they can stick them as far as I am concerned....I will never be that desperate for less than the price of 10 fags!
