The cheque is in the post - will it be cleared on first presentation?
Don't think I will be rushing to do anything else for them.
Strange, I was paid via Paypal from them last week.0 -

Thanks for that - that's what they told me, I think they are experiencing cashflow issues each month, which accounts for late payments and bounced cheques. Unless there is another reason for it.0 -

Look at where they are based, the whole country has cashflow issues at the moment. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -

To be honest I hadnt heard of them before MSing them, there are not many stores in my region, well just 1 actually, to about 7 of the competitor so i agree, but I do prefer the store to the main competitor.
never had a rubber cheque from catalyst though, have others here or is that a rumour ?0 -

I have read about bounced cheques a couple of times on here. More on late payments though.
It bugs me how Catalyst can pay some people by Paypal last week and, even though I am set up to be paid by Paypal, I am told a cheque is in the post for a payment due on 30th April. If I receive the cheque today or tomorrow the earliest I will see the money is 18th May. If I don't get the cheque tomorrow the earleist I will see the money will be 25th May, 5 days short of being a month late.
Anyway, I have made a choice and I won't do anymore work for them.0 -
I do get late payments and my request by payment via BACS to reduce their postage costs and my time going to the bank etc
and i only take jobs where they are offering me a premium, on the acceptance I wont get it as quick as i would like0 -
Anybody got email from Esa regarding electronics jobs?? It says to self assign but I cannot see it.0
