Not sure whether to upgrade to a new phone

I have a HTC Desire HD and so far I'm still happy with it. The minimum term is up so I will negotiate as I'm currently on 300 mins, unltd texts and 500MB for £23 + VAT a month.

So, been looking around and there doesnt seem to a newer phone that will improve it much so I think the best deal is to get a sim-only contract?

What would you do?

If your undecided then why not just get a rolling 1 month sim only deal for your existing phone, until a phone you want / like hits the market?

you could always take an upgrade from retentions only, then sell the phone to offset the charges,sort of matched betting with a phone ideal for you :j

i'd be too scared to sell a phone on ebay or the like.
