tempted as i could afford that now lol
yep thats the one. its a bit of a faff to get stuff on and the battery doesnt last very long when playing drawsomething (same with my android phone) but for that price i think its good.0 -
Make sure you're sure you don't need multi touch as that has a resistive touch screen.0

Yes, you'll be able to connect to any wireless connection when you're abroad (as long as you have the password). Just like in this country.
You don't have to buy one on contact either. Most 'cheap' tablets aren't 3G ready anyway unless they support 3G dongles, so getting a data plan is useless.
Thanks. Rightly or wrongly I popped into Asda today and they had a 7" Archos with a webcam for £119 so I took the plunge. Have noooo idea now how to set it up to receive my emails but I can log into my Avon website no probs so that was the main aim....
OK, I can take it - any thoughts on this model, good/bad/otherwise?

Overpriced. Had been £180 for a good few months. Get the Ainol one with the higher res screen, its excellent for the price.0 -

Is it the Archos 7? It's low on RAM so will slow down the more applications you have open, but if you find it does whatever you want it to do well enough then it's the right one for you.MarsdenCuckoo wrote: »Thanks. PS It's £99.99 in Carphone Warehouse or £87.99 on Amazon.

I like the look and more importantly the price of that one, seems to have plenty of oomph for the price. Very tempted now!0
