Well Guys Thanks Ever So Much for your brilliant feedback and advice. I am sorry that I started it on the wrong board!
have called Apoca today and they say its all on hold now but I am not holding my breath! these people are absolute clowns and should not be able to get away with "fining" people like this. They must make a packet out of people who just go with the flow and pay up. This is terrible!
I have printed off all your wonderful advice and will keep it as things progress
As for Graham White Solicitors, they can take a running jump!
You are all brilliant and thanks again for the re-assurance
Knew you would be able to help

Thank you Bluediamond, and I would not waste any more precious time speaking to the morons at APCOA. As you can see they care nothing about parking management, only about lining their own greedy pockets. They cannot and will not do anything.
Get to the bottom line. You were entitled to park where you did. The fact that your badge or permit (for whatever reason) wasn't displayed does not alter that fact.
Therefore, whilst they may say they were initially justified in issuing a ticket- albeit a FAKE unenforceable one, but that's another matter- upon their finding that you were, in fact, an authorised user, that ticket should have been cancelled IMMEDIATELY.
Just walk away from this shambolic scam.
By the way, if they don't drop this but send you threatening letters, you could be in line for a little payout from them. Ask me how if you're interested....0 -
Give them FA , tell me more!0
