I didn’t claim that there weren’t any; only that I’d never seen one, myself.

Switching off at the socket is switching the socket off – not switching the box off.

We have our own Sky box on a long power lead with a switched plug on the end, inserted into a four-gang that’s easy to reach when the bloody thing freezes and needs to be re-booted.
