Is Noddle broken for everyone or it is just me?

It's not inaccurate. You have late payments, Noddle have given you a 1/5 rating because of them.0
-
I'd love to know how you know that? 2 late payments more than 3 years ago should have minimal impact, as it does with other CRAs and lenders. I would expect 1/5 with CCJs and defaults, perhaps.
Maybe you know something I don't, in which case I'm happy to benefit from your knowledge.0 -
A credit score is 1 credit files view of your report. Your score is probably different across all 3 CRA's lol.
How do you know that "2 late payments more than 3 years ago should have a minimal impact"??
It's a pointless figure and only accurate for the CRA calculating it. Lenders don't see it when checking your file, so you have to ask yourself, what's the point of it? Well, the point is, at least 2 of the CRA's charge you for seeing it. It's nothing but a money spinner and people get far too hung up on a randomly generated number.0 -
I agree with you that's it's a pointless score, and I would never pay for something like this. I also have access to mainstream credit, so I'm not worried from that perspective. I guess my main issue is with how inaccurate I have found CRA data to be, and how long I've personally spent trying to correct it. I suppose seeing the Noddle estimation of my creditworthiness annoyed me. But, I don't disagree with you.0

I get a score of 1/5 with no missed payments and £8k worth of debt vs £27k salary. Seems a harsh.Total Debt Feb 2012 [STRIKE]£12,153[/STRIKE] 10674 16.5% Paid
Halifax Credit Card £4448.6. Loan 1 £3000. Loan 2 £2696.13.

Your salary doesn't appear on your credit report and is probably not used to create the score. This is one reason why credit scores from credit reference agencies are, at best, inaccurate and unreliable.
I know there is an option to enter your salary, but I think that's only used to suggest potential lenders to you.0 -
Well I just tried to register with Noddle and it won't verify my ID. I e-mailed them, they wrote back and said that this could be because of name/address changes, electoral roll etc. They even said 'for a very small number of people with little or no credit data there is also the possibility that there isn’t a credit report available.' Well, I've been with Experian etc. in the past, have a good and long credit report, so this doesn't apply either!
I have lived at the same address for nearly 30 years, haven't changed my name, am on the electoral roll, I double checked my debit card details, there's absolutely no reason why my ID wouldn't be verified, so it's ridiculous.Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0 -
Managed to sign in and see if the information was correct for me.0

Noddle's been giving me a "This web page is not available" page for the last few days? Is it down or is it just because I'm abroad?0
