Sorry to hear about your locks mumto5. I hope you find a solution but have no advice to offer I'm afraid. X

I didn't end up getting much done yesterday. Just about managed the dishes. Such a shame cos I felt so motivated but there were just too many large pots and bits and pieces that took a while to move out of the way.

Doesn't matter. We have a brand new day today and although I am suffering from an extreme tiredness (probably down to this crappy weather) I am
Determined to do at least level one for the last two days and hopefully some level two as well. :)

I hav also just received the tax returns forms for me and dh so might need to start looking at those... It's quite depressing how quickly that comes round!!

Well, no WM for a couple of weeks at least  so am off to m-i-l's with a load this afternoon. Wooden door on fully integrated DW also came off yesterday - so DH has sourced parts online and they should arrive tomorrow/ Thurs (although at least DW can be used in meantime) AND then finally a part on my Dyson snapped - it's still fully usable, I just can't clip it all tidily together for storage (I blame DH - he picks it up by the wrong bit) - I can't find just that bit online anywhere (Dyson/ ebay/ amazon), just a new whole piece (at £40+) so will phone Dyson and see if it's possible. Grrrrrr!!:mad:

Magic girl - I have my tax return request too, but most of the paperwork I need (p60, p11d, bank interest statements etc) haven't yet been supplied, so don't rush! Although it is worth working out what you need.

    Morning lovelies!

Happy Birthday for yesterday LL, sorry I missed it xx

AnW'smum Hiya! :hello: hope you're all well, lovely to see you posting x

Welcome back to returners and hiya to new people x

It's like winter  froze my yahoobies off when I went to drop littley at school.

Out a lot today so won't get much done, but the house is ticking over nicely so no worries. Need to empty the DW and reload it before I go to work and stick the WM on but that's pretty much it.

    Laters folks x

Morning all. Some unexpected flying time this morning as weather too horrible to walk dogs so vacuumed and swept through house instead, with the exception of DDs room as she's still in bed. Think that might be in now though for a couple of days. Right, off to work.

The front door lock is broken again. I'm sure it's only 12-18 months since we were fleeced by a locksmith. This is the 4th time in the six years we have lived here. How much does a new door cost? It's got to be better than forking out £200 for new locks every year:(

    £200!!! Jeez!!!!

Ours was £12.. we took the lock out (12 screws!) and took it to a shop and got one which was the same size and put it back in.. Ww replaced 3 locks last summer!

I would like to ask for assistance if noone minds?

As you know DS3 has Type 1 diabetes, there is a charity JDRF .. this won't cost you money!.. which funds research and support for the children and families.

A couple of my facebook friends are trying to win 1000 t-shirts to sell to raise money... There are several other bids in but the photographs need to be 'liked' on a facebook group.. you don't have to join anything or and you won't be cluttered with emails etc.. :D

    It is THIS LINKYPOPS ..

if you wouldn't mind liking the pegasus t-shirt picture JDRF and lots of diabetic children would be very grateful... it breaks you heart some of these are little tiny babies :(

    Morning all

Weather here seems to be summing up the mood in the Dusty house, cold and wet.

Just DS1 and I here now so at least it is quiet. Just having a cuppa refuel and then my plan is solid flying until lunchtime which would give me time for paperwork this afternoon.
