Magic girl - I have my tax return request too, but most of the paperwork I need (p60, p11d, bank interest statements etc) haven't yet been supplied, so don't rush! Although it is worth working out what you need.

    Good point Greenbee
I left work in June and have only been getting maternity leave since which ended at start of march so wanted to get my head sorted cos I missed the 10.11 deadline due to being so busy. (I run the administrative side of my husbands business and even while in labour my phone wouldn't stop going off until dh switched it off and I was back to 'work' the very next day)

off for a HHC to see what i can achieve off yesterdays and todays lists, anyone else?

Hbe to go do the school run or else I'd have been more than happy to join you!

Apologies to others convos which I've missed. I'm on my phone and feeding baby but just wanted to add that I have managed to do the worktops in my kitchen and I have swept the lounge and kitchen floor. Both need a good scrub and if I can also get the vacuum out, I will do that. I managed to recycle a bag full of old papers and school letters etc and hope to file some of the remaining papers by tonight. Dh has built me an office that was a wip for About three years but it's now ready for me to 'move into' and I am gradually clearing my bedroom as a result. It's quite refreshing getting it move but then I walk back into the bedroom an see a pile of boxes on my bed that still look VERY full!
But at least I amazing progress. I keep using the mantra 'it took more than a day to get to this point...' ;)

I had an operation on my foot and have not been very mobile for three months. My husband has been doing his best with the housework but now I'm back on my feet I don't know where to start. Walking is still painful so I can't do much at a time but I'm giving it a go.

Yesterday, I cleared all the kitchen surfaces and washed them over - it looks so much better out there.

Today, I cleaned all the mirrors and internal glass doors - also washed the curtain on the big lounge window and cleaned it inside and out. It all looks so different.

    I'm looking forward to tomorrow's list :T

    Thanks for the inspiration

Glad I got the washing out yesterday as it's raining today and forecast to stay that way all week. We need the rain though, hosepipe ban here. I have been stockpiling 2litre bottles of still water from Mr S & Mr T (approx 18p each) in case the water supply dwindles over the summer. The bumpkin teens think I'm potty but the thought of not being able to wash or make coffee is making me

Also I've emptied all bins, got rid of more glass for recycling and sorted some clothes for the CS. Mr T shop delivered. Bought 3 pairs of sandals for £16.25 (RRP £65) and a second-hand Wallis skirt for £4 :money: so that's my birthday money from my aunt spent wisely, I think :p

I MUST MUST MUST find my log-book, it is hiding and the game isn't funny any more. When I find it I will give it a good telling off

Hope everyone is doing OK, hugs to those that need or want one.

    BBxx

my HHC turned into an hour in it i achieved
dusting and polishing the dining chairs
a quick sprint down the garden to rescue 2 loads of washing that was almost dry when the heavens opened
dusting all fluffy bits in lounge and hall
finding black fly all over the new leaves on my lime plant so gently showering it off and cleaning the little blighters off it
5 mins off to watch the space shuttle make its final landing via piggyback on a jumbo- very impressive

Dishes washed and some surfaces wiped. Twinks baked. Dog walked. Had 3 phone calls so far about Beavers from 1 school where the letters have only gone out tonight there's another 3 lots of letters going out at another 3 schools tomorrow - I hope I don't end up with too many!

Going to drop the kids off at mum and dad's in a min and then I'll be back to do some more stuff before I go out about 7 for a meeting.
