Well it has been my first day flying and I have achieved 'Level 1' as I set out to do. Also managed to wash/dry a load of washing, S&S the loos, make tomorrow's packed lunches for DC and put DW on. All in all am feeling pretty pleased with myself :)

Thought I'd swing by and wish LL a happy birthday :bdaycake:

Been months since I last looked in, hope you are all well. CHAOS still reigns here and I am still trying to curb it!

Made a rash promise at the end of last year to host a NYE party this year  so I have to clear the ROD and the rest of the HOD!!!!!!!!!!!!
Say hello to Miss A and master W for me and DD and hope you are all well. Any suggestions for van hols in June BH week ??? :D

Have not done much since I came in as have had a blinder of a headache again but at least its improved now. Have also had words with the kids and said they WILLNEED to help me over the next few weeks when I will be working 6 out of 7 and so far they have agreed so its a joint effort on the things we can cross off - oh and apologies I should say a big THANKYOU to Dusty for this weeks list.

    Ok here goes this week!

Monday - kitchen and dining room
    level one

Clear and wipe work surfaces, only put back what belongs here - DONE
    Level Two
Sweep and mop floors, Use a cloth to get right into the corners and do any skirtings too
Clean the drawer and filter in the WM
Wipe table and chairs - DONE
    Level three
Sort out the cupboard you visit the least - do you need all that stuff?
Wander around downstairs and make a list of all the homeless things which make flying tricky - DO PEOPLE COUNT
15 minutes wiping (inside fridge/doors/small appliances etc)
    [/QUOTE]

Well that wasnt much was it but better than nothing. Have also relocated a pile of washing to various peeps and put another load in for WM.

I now need to find out what time I have to get the train in the morning, work out what paperwork I can do on the 2 hr journey without carrying too much and work out what to wear. Better not hang around here too long then.

    Hopefully 'see'you all tomorrow

    Kaz x

Evening all, am sitting here while watching "Sounds of the 70's" - DH is so happy as this is his era. I'm just laughing at the fashions, although he has just pointed out the 80's weren't that much better..lol

Had to rescue a starling from my veg cage in the garden this afternoon - why don't they go the way you are offering but insist on getting all flustered and fly in the opposite direction. Ended up taking half the netting off the cage and leaving it to fly off on it's own. Thankfully it didn't take too long for it to disappear.

Woody the woodpigeon was sitting on the fence watching all this going on, I think he thought he was going to get some more bird seed..lol

We have aquired two chaffinches in the garden now, they come down when I have put the seed etc out in the mornings.. I'm not sure what it is that is attracting them but they certainly like it..lol So now I am going to have to think of two names for them :D

Bella has now arrived and has settled herself in quite nicely - she has been fast asleep in her bed since she arrived. Unfortunately she hasn't looked at her dinner but I'm not that bothered about that as last time she didn't eat it until the morning. We have her staying with us till the 3rd May and she is a right little diva - prefers being left to her own devices rather than being stroked/fussed etc. Hopefully we can get a lead on her this time as last time we gave up as she spent the whole time trying to eat DH's hand and snarling at us. Typical Jack Russell..:p

For some reason I don't seem to have done much of the kitchen as per list, I ended up doing the living room..although only the surface stuff really, oh and the stairs as the cats had been playing "who can fire the litter the furthest" again!! Oh well there's always tomorrow..

Had better get tomorrows list started quite early as I am child sitting in the afternoon, as well as picking up three other children at school time.. At this rate I'm going to need a rest come the weekend. :D

Back to the 70's music :D

As you can see - I haven't gone to bed yet!!

Just wanted to say.... Natty, my weekly guilty pleasure has been watching Top of the Pops 1977 (BBC4) :o It was the year I started secondary school, so lots of memories. They are just the weekly episodes (not TOTP2), so all the rubbish is there too! And yes, the fashions are funny :) Abba was number 1 this week! (knocked Manhatten Transfer off the top) They were simple times (from the memory of a 10-11 year old!!)

Ok - i am off now..... hugs, sticks and spoons aplenty for those that need them :) Goodnight all x

Haven't achieved a huge amount today - I did empty and refill the chest of drawers, but it's still full and there are still homeless clothes around. I can't quite work out why as I'm sure I got rid of loads last year! Part of the problem is having so many I don't wear now I don't work in an office.

Washing all done, and ironing picked up, so that's some stuff out of the house, even if only temporarily!

Lots of stuff is slowly migrating back to the correct rooms. I need to try to have a blitz in the study tomorrow so I can move myself back in there to work. Hopefully, if I get it tidy, it will help get me motivated and focussed again.

Sleep would be a good idea...

Quick update before I shower & go to bed

    Today we:

    Swept Kitchen & LR floor
    Washed all kitchen cupboard fronts
    Washed kitchen windows
    Wiped all the worktops
    WM been on
    DW been on
    Full day at work
1 1/2 hrs at the gym
:jShredded everything that came in the post today (why did I sign up for the mail preference service - it doesn't work!) and at least 15 things from the pile:j

I'm shattered but pleased - normally our evening would be spent vegging in front of tv, we did about 3/4hr housework(4 people can get alot done) then went to the gym (this is a major priority for all 4 of us, that I want to be something we do without thinking).

    night all

    Gtx
