You don't have to, they will turn into flies by themselves and they only eat dead meat.
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.

Good that's one less fly we have to worry about getting rid of

  • Do check out the vine weevil beetle on Google - I've been letting them live, assuming them to be something else, yet I knew all about the larvae. God knows what damage I'll have inflicted by not having killed the little *#!*$

See the post above yours, you need a chemical [not cheap], the chemical kills the weevil grubs, it does not kill the adult weevil

The grubs eat the roots, and kill or severely weaken the plant that way.

The adult weevil eats the leaves, you may find nibbled edges. Generally does not kill or harm plant too much

The main problem then are the weevil grubs, have a Google to see more

PS the manufacturers do not recommend applying the chemical to edible plants
Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens

Is there something natural or organic to get rid of this vine beetle?

If you go out at dusk and lift up pots, you might see them running around. I've seen a couple before. Then your boot will come in handy, no chemicals used at all :D
