Title sez it all; login, start typing a reply, and I get kicked out after two or three lines, with Safari closing altogether, and booting me back to the home screen of the iPad. Open Safari again, and the MSE tab is still open within Safari, but I'm prompted to login again, and the text of my post has been lost.

I thought it was just me. I've not had my iPad for very long and wondered why MSE would just close down sometimes, usually when in the middle of a long involved post.
When it closes it also takes down and logs me out of any other tabs I also have open.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Safari on the ipad has a longstanding problem. It simply doesn't like some websites. I get exactly the same behavoiur on a couple of sites I look at on mine. I am fairly sure it's not the MSE site, but the OS on the machine itself.0

If you're working on a long post you'll be tapping away at the keyboard. But you're not actually sending anything to our server until you press the submit button. So you're actually "inactive" from our server's perspective. If you're "inactive" long enough you'll be automatically logged out.

So why can I type a long post on my PC, using IE or Chrome, without problem, but try the same on iPad Safari and it fails....??0 -
This disconnection from the site happens to me if I take time writing a post, and it's so annoying. Why don't your servers give people enough time? This only happens on here. I take longer as I'm on my mobile, but on other sites I'm never cut off.
Being 'inactive' should last alot longer than writing a long post.
