There doesn't seem an awful lot of info out there regarding this which would imply they are not sent out very often as I can't find many posts on the net relating to it.

I hope all your awards remain in place, given the 1 percent figure, this seems likely. Best wishes!

  • hi,
i recieved the form 80 this morning completely unexpected and a real jolt. I am in receipt of dla at both higher rates and really do not know how I am going to cope if it is removed. I have a fluctuating condition which is exacerbated by stress. At first i thought that someone has informed that I shouldnt be getting my award but reading here looks like lots of peoplke are getting them. My envelope just has B105 next to the adress.
if it is only a review then surely if our condition is unchanged then they cannot reduce it? if so then surely there are grounds for appeal?

Try not to worry, easier said than done. I received the form and letter at the start of March. Sent it back near the end of March. Had a medical mid July. 10 days later received a letter saying "We're paying you the correct amount of DLA!"

It's just your NI number has been thrown out at random by the DLA computer. It's not because they're suspicious or anything. Fill the form in and try and relax it takes a few months to hear anything back
  • This is still going on. I'm on both higher components for care and mobility, for indefinite period. Have been on it for 10+ years. My understanding was wouldn't be looked at until 2015 onwards. Completely stressed and freaked out by this letter and form? Letter DLA107 :\

I think you've got confused as it is only some of the current DLA claims that will need to be transferred to PIP are not going to be transferred until 2015. Then what will happen is current DLA claimants need to apply for PIP to see if they are eligible.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

No! Don't think I'm confused at all ?!! I was told and had read to me, that those on DLA for indefinite period, would not have their claims looked at until 2015 ..onwards?

The review of my DLA has upset me and worries me. Was not expected. I have dreadful neighbours and fear they have made a malicious and vexatious allegation. See link. Even though innocent fear and worry this.

Edit: unable to post link to inform of even malicious /untrue reports ,used by DWP as excuse to initiate a pip :(
