Glad to know its not just me then! I own a Volvo 940 estate that pretty much converts into a van with the seats down.

My friend had one of those. I once had to lend him my Estima because it would take a sofa that stuck out 3" from the Wentworth.

I no longer have the MPV but used to enjoy the opportunities it gave me to help people out. I'd much rather go home with a heartfelt "Thank you" than an artificial feeling of superiority.
    Can I help?

Good thread, I have an Octavia Mk II estate which has a decent load space and has been needed quite a few times to haul large or numerous items. However anyone who's needed it has been very grateful for the help so I'm not complaining, it's good to be able to help out others as it makes the Octavia purchase more worthwhile.

Have to say that this thread made me chuckle :rotfl:.

I own a renault scenic which is handy the way the back seats fold down....but when I need to go out with my whole immediate family in one trip (6 of us) I have been known to "borrow" my Dads 7 seater Zafira for the day lol
The loopy one has gone :j

I've got a 7 seater and DH has got a van even had neighbours who have never spoken to us ask us to take stuff to the tip for them because they don't want to get their car dirty! made even worse when you consider my car was only a year old and DH's van was a month old and they had a really tatty volvo.

The same people asked to put their old carpets in a skip we'd payed £120 to hire. They even had the cheek to act miffed when I told them we'd be filling it ourselves, nowt as queer as folk:(
Time, Tide and Diarrhoea wait for no man. ;)
