subscribed to a thread

i notice one thread (only one though) that i posted in today has a little tick next to it saying i am subscribed ........ what does this mean.

and how did i do it without knowing?

I think you get "suscribed" to any thread that you post on, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

subscriptions are hard to explain so the guide is still unfinished
