Groupon refuse to refund

I bought a £59 voucher for a beauty treatment.
The salon repeatedly let me down and the 4th appointment which she did not turn up for again ! was made on the last day of the voucher expiry.
I emailed support@groupon that evening via a link on there website and had no reply I emailed again the next day and on the 3rd day I emailed via my hotmail account. They replied saying that I missed the deadline and even though the salon failed on 4 occasions to supply the treatment I would not be entiled to a refund.
I was delibrately messed about by the salon (Bella Derma)
Any advice as to my rights please.
