    "The change isn't cosmetic, its a visa debit card, it has a new BIN number and an AID of 31010. They have not done a co-op, they did they change over properly."

    Don't get me onto this one....I wish I didn't have an Electron card :mad:.

    Co-operative Bank really screwed up when they did it...but they are still issuing Electron cards with their Cashminder account even though it says "Visa Debit" on the card in case you're interested..

    New Halifax card arrived today, its Visa Electron.

    Only difference is its blue instead of Frog Green.

    Jet 2 & Flybe do not charge for debit cards... Just tried to make a booking and it clearly states DEBIT CARDS FREE.
    Bmibaby make no mention of a charge... Given the below I guess they don't either.
    And as per the OFT slap for the airlines. I think you may find the others will be the same.

    That was 8 months ago... I'm pretty sure that back then all those airlines did charge for debit cards excluding the Electron.

    BMIbaby also no longer exists!
