Morning all
Hubby & I are visiting a friend at 11 today to help with her garden for an hour, then I'll drop hubby at work & fill the car up with petrol.
I shall put a load of washing on in a sec, sunshine & showers here today but the washing will be okay as I have a cover for the line.
I've posted a pic of one of the shrugs on my blog & later today I'm going through the house washing the paintwork & I may go to work & do an hours overtime.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs Hester

(((((bitsy)))))) - my gran has coped extremely well since my dear grandad passed 3 years ago (today actually). We were all worried about her but she has been so strong and is fiercely independant! Hope you are ok
I have a raging headache
and no it's not a hangover cos I didn't drink anything last night!! I had a nice time out with my friends watching the band.
Work today, office based so will be catching up on admin. Meeting my old colleague for lunch which will be nice. Tonight I'm going to a hen do - 2 course meal, disco etc. It's an ex-colleague from my old workplace. It's in an obscure location so will need to take the car. Will be a cheap night cos I paid for it months ago!
Nothing remotely OS here today
Have a good day all

just back from a couple of days in chester, we were really lucky with the weather as we went to the zoo and it was warm and sunny. the zoo was fab but very expensive, we stayed in a cheap travel lodge though so that helped
got to take my car in to have the handbrake mended - more money , it seems to be flowing away right now i need to get a tight rein on it
have a good day everyone x0 -
Oh Tru - so sorry:(I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

So sorry to hear your news Tru and yours Bitsy.
Hugs and love for both of you.0 -

morning!
day off here:j am shattered as it was a hectic day yesterday although I did enjoy my art class and meal out last night but the day involved a lot of driving - taxi duty for DS to and from work plus other bits.
Have had a good tidy through this morning and run the vac around. Second load is in the machine. The ironing pile is getting progressively bigger:eek: must tackle it as I'm working all weekend and every day next week except Tuesday.

Morning all. WM spinning a load of towels, floors and skirtings cleaned. Scrubbed the front door yesterday, it was filthy! Am off to the post office to collect a parcel, no doubt DD has been ordering clothes again! Didn't go to shops yesterday, and don't think I can be bothered, will see how I feel once i've collected parcel as sorting office is in an industrial estate. Have a good day all!RIP Iain

Good morning all,
Hugs to bitsy and tru, thinking of you both.
Not a great start to the day, daughter not talking to me again. Everytime her bf comes round she gets attitude but i just let it go because i can't be bothered with the tension. They go in the room and watch what they want on the tv and we stay in the kitchen to give them a bit of privacy. Glass panel door so not complete privacy. We probably are old fashioned but we don't allow them in the bedoom, just the way hubby and i feel about that. Last night i stayed in the room, heaven forbid i wanted to watch my tv in my house. So they went out and she is still not talking. She makes me sooo angry that she seems to think she can run the house when he comes round. My rules, my house, if she doesn't like it thats tough. Phew, i feel better for getting that off my chest.
Wm is on, washing out on the line. Going to do some baking with other daughter. Using up bits and pieces from the cupboard.
Hope everyone has a good day and hugs to those who need them.
