Misuse of my Natwest Solo card

You're right about insurance companies! As I frequently change my credit cards I always make it quite clear that I am making a one off payment, and that it is pointless them trying to take it the next year as I probably won't have the card. You can guess what's coming next! My insurance company wrote with the new premium, and said they would debit my credit card. I rang, explained, gave another card number, which they debited, then beggar me if they don't also try and debit the old one, and write to tell me I had no insurance and they would inform my mortgage lender.
Mind you, they can do it again this year, cos I complained and got £50 'for my trouble'; really wasn't much trouble, but I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth!0
