My guess is it'll be James240 because he's over a long protracted time done a lot of cutting back, shifting debt around etc and forms quite a good 'case study'
What's a bit frustrating about the IA family situation is that 90% of options aren't open to you, i.e. shifting to 0% cards etc. Tedious and boring as it is you just have to keep plodding away banging a few pounds of here and there. Whilst on an income that is under all guidelines what is deemed the minimum level society sets for a family.
It's frustrating you are paying 25% + on some of your debts and it's very impressive how much you've paid off. Apparently there are some moves afoot for an online credit union. Money to some extent generates money, if you have a bit then paying off the debt is cheaper. I guess though it won't be too long before your debt turns into a few savings though. Good luck with the long, slow, boring plod.... Just thought you'd appreciate being reminded we know it's slow and tedious and it must drive you up the wall always watching every penny at some point it would be a s*d it it's only £20 on a takeaway etc0 -

Just wouldn't take it too personally if you don't win, there's also the length of time I imagine doing this for 2 years earns some brownie points.0
