Are you Britain's Best Debt Dieter?
Have you radically reduced your debts over the last year? I want to crown the MoneySavingExpert.com champion - £500 for the winner.

If you've budgeted until your blue in the face, eBayed your prized collection of vintage records or clawed back the cash to pay off debt in some other way this is the competition for you. I want to hear all the info. How have you paid it back? What kept you motivated? And what your top debt dieting tips are. Plus there'll be £500 up for grabs for the winner to help further reduce the debt.

    One question.

    How is this judged - for example, I could say I had HALVED my debt, how would all this be verified?
    No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

    Oh not me, I did the easy thing and flogged something expensive ( my flat)

    Jamie, or Immoral angel spring to mind for me, they have very little, but make amazing strides. Saying that there may be others.

    Yes, I would vote for Immoral Angel too, she's paid off an amazing amount on a low income whilst heavily pregnant (I hope she wont mind me saying that!).

    I_A would get my vote too.
    Without wanting to sound patronising:o I feel she has achieved a lot on one quite average income AND had two babies in two years - no mean feat ;)

    I'll put in a vote for the boys - James240 and Southern Scouser have been very determined to get their debts down - and they certainly seem to be paying huge chunks off.
    The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:
