Been in a similar position, had a 20+ year old ideal boiler never gave any trouble. Decided to move the kitchen around and based upon reliability of the previous boiler opted for a Ideal isar 30 condensing combi. Had it fitted inside a kitchen wall cupboard so its hidden away, and so far has been excellent with plenty of hot water.0
