So I'm wrong in thinking that 99% of TVs manufactured these days have internet connectivity? Mine is 2 years old and has access to lovefilm/netflix/iplayer and a load of other rubbish too.
Unless OP bought one of the 1% ones ...
Lots are not internet connected. E.g. this one, new model for 2012 from Toshiba:

I stand corrected.
Another option then would be to get a blu-ray player that is connected. I also have one of these... get one for under £100... possibly a lot less now, I'm not doing the legwork!0 -
I have an apple TV - it's a waste of money! All it'll let you do is YouTube and Netflix. No web browsing or any other decent apps/services
Here's a question - why do you want it to be internet-enabled? What do you want to use it for?
I have an internet enabled TV and only use it for accessing films on my network hard disk. Occasionally i'll use the apps, but they're a bit rubbish really.0
