Megabus ticket compensation

Hello everyone!
I was wondering - what rights do I have in the following situation:
A bus from MEGABUS company has arrived to London almost 1 hour late and caused a delay to work. Enquires about any kind of compensation seem to be ignored.
Am I entitled to at least a full ticket refund?
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

i think they only give refunds if the bus was cancelled AFAIKReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0

I suspect you have no rights to any refund. Was the problem caused by the driver or general traffic ?0 -
If it was vital that you got to work on time you should have caught an earlier bus, anyone who has travelled on UK roads in the last 30 years should be aware that delays are the norm.0

If it was because the bus broke down or something that was under their control possibly.
If not under their control, no.Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j
OU student: A103 , A215 , A316 all done. Currently A230 all leading to an English Literature degree.
Any advice given is as an individual, not as a representative of my firm.0 -
OP, what did the driver say at the time?0

From the Megabus Website:-
"h. No compensation will be offered if your journey is cancelled or delayed."“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0 -

The OP hasn't said he was using Megabusplus, but I think his chances of getting a refund are exactly the same.0 -
No, buses do sometimes run late.0
