Transfer of old ISA

Got my ISA statement in from the Hallifax. Two queries, last year I transfered an old ISA from Barclays and on my statement this shows as a Deposit Branch Credit Without Book.

The annual interest was also missing.

Phoned them and was told a computer glitch failed to show the interest on the ISA statements. Also told not to worry regards the transfer as it can show on the statement in different ways depending on who keyed it in.

If this correct or am I being fobbed.

"Deposit Branch Credit..." is typical of Halifax's system's inability to accurately report the source of your funds. Nothing to worry about.

You need to check the terms of your account for the interest payment date. It may be on the anniversary of opening/transfer or it may be on some other fixed date. "Computer glitch failed to show interest" - a likely story, ask them how much interest you've earned and when will it be paid.
