I will try the Cornwall branch later, sounds great. Talking of sainsbury I had a 'one off ' last week. They had reduced large pork Joints (4lb) to £1.25 p per kilo....The checkout boy scanned them through as £1.25p each....ha.... Cheap meat for the next few weekends.

They'd mega reduced chicken breasts and so ended up paying me 91p to take two packets of four away and 2p to take 2 packs of chicken goujons, with their buy 2 for £x multibuys :j

This working in Cardiff also, I only picked up two packs myself out of curiosity but may go back for a couple more, trouble is with only one eating cereal in the household not much point in picking up too many,

  • Went to buy Malties and frosted flakes but were full price at Sainsbury's savacentre at 8pm last night but bought....

6xlarge punnets of strawberries reduced from £1.99 to....1p each
3xapple&raspberry tarts reduced from 99p to ....10p each
2xpacks of bakery cherry scones reduced to 10p each
1xpack of onion bagels reduced to 10p each
1xpack of bakery sliced bread reduced to 10p each
    plus
Carte D'or ice cream bogof @£2.54 each (good with strawberries!)

So I guess its thanks for the tip re: cereals

Aberdeen Garthdee branch also got the same error. Cheers for the tip.

Didn't read this till today. Curse. Pity 'cos I scooped some great bargains at 7.45 last night at Garthdee. Still will try the cereals next time.

I tried that at my local Sains today - two of the same type - but it's not working now, although it did last Thursday.
