Another Santander transfer question

Hi

I intend to open one of the Santander Direct ISA for this tax year.

I will deposit £5640 into it, and also transfer 2 existing ISAs - one from Halifax and the other from last years Santander Direct ISA.

On the transfer form part 2(c) is says "Do you want to transfer your current tax year subscriptions as part of this transfer" Yes/No - which one should I select?

Thanks

Also I'm assuming its alright to open the account and deposit the full amount for this year, then submit the two transfer forms?

Tick no, I don't believe it makes much difference but the money you're transferring is old ISA money. You can transfer the two into the same one, yes.

You don't need a form to transfer from Santander to Santander - just ring them or visit a branch. Do this first, you'll keep the same sortcode and account number. Then you can add this year's subscription and complete a transfer form for the Halifax ISA only

    Thanks for the help.

Regarding the Halifax transfer my sort code and account number is xx-xx-xx and 00yyyyyy.

On the transfer form there is a field called 'existing account number' which is 14 digits long. Do I only need to enter the account number or do I write both the sort code and account number (omitting the two leading zeros off the account number)

Both. 6 digit sort code first (without space or punctuation) then 8 digit account number (including the leading zeros.) 8+6=14 digits. Use the same format for your Santander sortcode/account number in part 1
For the Halifax address you can use PO Box 548, Leeds, LS1 1WU and telephone number 08457263646
