Unless I'm missing something - you're paying £19 upfront for the phone, and then £34 per month x 24 months...it's not £19 per month.
Not really sure where Groupon get the 85% saving from either...as the Iphone when bought directly from 3, on a £34 per month tariff is only £49 upfront.

    Then thats £835 overall right...
Yes, so deduct £499 for the cost of the iPhone, and divide by 24 to calculate the cost of the service alone. £14/month compares favourably with the £25/month that Three charges for a similar service on a 1-month SIM-only contract.

if you're after an iphone - try this - it's £2ppm more (£36p/m) but there's no upfront cost, and it appears to be offering unlimited minutes/texts plus 1GB of data.

Are you within your cancellation period ruby?
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

Do you think its still a good deal? I feel so stupid right now :o I read £19 and per month and immediately jumped on this deal!

If only i had taken the £30 a month and free iphone 3 had like a week ago... The saving would have been £115 :/
Yes, that was my point; it is a good deal compared to a SIM-only contract. Usually SIM-only works out cheaper, but not in this case.

What would you have received in the £30/month deal in terms of allowances? It works out at £9.21/month without the iPhone, so compare that to Three's SIM-only deals.

If it's not been delivered be careful. If you even turn it on Three will then reject it from being returned under the DSR rules.

I actually think that the Tesco £36 deal is better value - if you're going to make use of the minutes that is. Includes 1GB of data.

Currently £50.50 cashback via TopCashback too...

my only gripe is 500MB of data... is that a lot? I'm always on the internet and would hate to keep track of what I'm using
It's the bare minimum for an iPhone; I'd recommend 750MB. Having said that, I use wifi whenever available, and I consequently use 200-400MB per month.

Would an iphone really be worth it?

Whichever way you acquire a new iPhone 4S, the ultimate cost to you of the phone itself is £500, so you need to decide whether it's worth £500 to you. It should make no difference whether this cost is partially spread over 24 months or not; your decision should remain the same.
