Yeh, I got a non-answer from Tesco (though it's not really their fault if it's a supply problem)..Johnson And Johnson are still having delays meeting demand for the J&J free month's trial.
They suggested I go in-store (I will at some point, the Tesco Extra is miles away) or wait another week or so.
tk20blue, do you suspect the problem is with Tesco?? They're saying J&J were being "difficult" last time I phoned, but didn't elaborate on what they meant.0 -
Here's another Acuvue promotion, free 30 day trial when you buy 2 months' supply (assuming it's the one mentioned earlier in the thread): https://www.acuvue.co.uk/campaigns/moist/offer?publisher=ad!!!!!!
Tesco opticians are mentioned here though! Very odd.
PS: It says "Completed vouchers must be redeemed by 30th September 2012". Participants are listed as "local independent opticians, David Clulow Opticians and Leighton’s Opticians only. Check with local opticians for details. Opticians not participating include Vision Express, Specsavers, TESCO Opticians, Costco and Asda Opticians."0 -
I read all the information and i am very happy about that. It is the good promotion for every one who are interested to buy it including me and i hope in future you also update us.0

I kinda gave up on this promotion, but phoned up Tesco Opticians today to see if there was any word from Acuvue (they told me a few months back Johnson & Johnson were overwhelmed with orders).
Curiously, the optician told me at my sight test earlier that I'm NOT eligible for the month's supply of Acuvue. As it's for "new customers who haven't tried it yet". Well, I haven't tried TruEye before, and only ever used Focus Dailies/internet brands, so doesn't that make me eligible?
Can't even check the small print as the offer ended months ago.
Felt like I was being fobbed off, to be honest. She said she'll give me ten pairs instead when I go back for a follow-up. Better than nothing I suppose!0 -
