hmmm will see what happens with my tescos one-I said it finishes on 22nd april but they told me they send their vouchers through on tuesdays and that tommorow is the last day they can send it through. I didn't get charged for a fitting (largely because the optician said you know what to do with these don't you) but I have been given a five day trial so assuming I will need to pay when I go in on Thursday... will let you know what happens0

I'm sure there was an update on the orginal deal posting on MSE that Boots were particpating, however went along and had my contact lens check up on 20 April and when I produced the voucher they said they weren't doing it.
I emailed Acuvue and they said that was correct, Boots werent part of it however they would honour vouchers received from Boots (?).
They did also say that they would not process any vouchers received after 22 April.
All a bit rubbish really!0 -

thanks ducksbubbles. I'm actually going to take their week long trial on the lenses and, a bit cheeky but, the Optometrist did say they'll send off the voucher and see if it works. I'll only end up paying £15 so no major loss I guess...:o
Be good to know how you got on though...Good Luck to both of us0 -
got my free 30 pairs of lenses from tesco last night- had to pay £15 for the 'fitting' and the optician didn't even look in my eyes! lol but I had had a prescription 2 months ago and was only there to get the free lenses so I didn't mind too much although it did seem a bit stupid. anyway, i gave tesco my voucher before the 22nd but i think they sent it off on tuesday. I also got a 'weeks' trial (10 days) last week so 40 pairs in total
all the lenses were in ten day trial packs (so six packs from the order) with sample written all over it. Doesn't make a difference to me

It's around a month since I got my eye test (and gave my optician the form for the 30 day trial..I picked the TruEye option).
Apparently Tesco opticians has contacted Acuvue on my behalf a few times, but they (Acuvue) have been utterly overwhelmed with demand for this offer, so I've to wait a little longer. So I was told. Might be useful for anyone else waiting and wondering!0 -
Haven't heard a thing, have to chase Tesco up on this one!0

I've just spoken to my Tesco Optician and they've been told by J&J that the offer ended in April, so I can't have my free 30 day supply, despite there being not stated end date on the voucher!! Very disappointed in both Tesco and J&J for lack of clarity around this - and the general service that I've receive from Tesco means that I won't be using them for optical needs in the future.0

Still waiting on the free month's Acuvue TruEye! To be honest, I was beginning to think I wasn't getting them, as Tesco told me a few weeks ago Johnson And Johnson are having trouble honouring this promotion.
Phoned Tesco Optician today and they said they're trying to get round it by offering trial lenses (a month's supply) to hundreds of customers. Apparently J&J are being difficult about it, not sure what they mean by that.
I've to phone back tomorrow.0 -

Maybe J&J expired it early as demand was too great...my experience seems to bear this out.0 -
I paid for an assessment and trial at Tesco. I've been chasing them and still haven't heard anything. They keep saying they are chasing Johnson & Johnson but can't seem to get any more lenses from them.
I see J&J are running another promo on Acuvue Moist...this time excluding Tesco!!
I think we need to make submissions to Watchdog!
