Just off home to get lunch when left over sarnies arrived from seminar. On a scale of 1 - 10 not brilliant sarnies (so defo won't be taking any home for freezing) but OS lunch :D There were lots of cakes as well, but I am DETERMINED to get shot of this spare tyre by the Olymics opening ceremony :D

    Hiya!

    Still around but only briefly.

Have just washed and dried (part outside, finished in TD) 6 sets of bedding for the caravan - 2 doubles and 4 singles. Now have about 4 hours ironing to do before they all have to be returned by tomorrow morning.

Nothing interesting to eat, it will be foraging for the rest of the day.
Just off to see EA about the flat I've put an offer in for - I'm a sucker for punishment!

Then back to the ironing board.

    Love you. x

    Happy birthday Mr Bitsy!

Good morning in work, kids worked quite hard on their presentation. And good afternoon in pub with uni girls, got lots of work done, and had nice lunch.

Carrying on with uni work tonight, just about to eat my leftover curry for tea.

Happy Birthday Mr Bitsy, hope it's a good day.
Cariad - Hope your Mum's better, such a shame when she was just being proud.

Staying near Whitley Bay for a couple of nights with DD, had a lovely day stopping off at the Northumberland coast on the way. Fish and chips on the sea front for tea so I'm full and happy.

    Take care. XX

    Evening everyone,

    Am awake-ish :rotfl:

Thank you all for your very kind wishes to mum, you are lovely people. DSis2 went to see her this afternoon and reports that she is doing nicely but is being moved to the local hospital for a few days so they can keep an eye on her bp. They think its may have been some tablets she was on that made her unsteady on her feet - she had been saying for ages she didn't think she should be taking them and it would seem she may have been right!!

I am going to the kitchen showroom to pick out worktops and doors for a quote tomorrow, doing a big food shop as every cupboard is almost bare then having my natural 'highlights' covered :rotfl:

I think friday will be ironing and bed stripping day - joy!

Best wishes and hugs to all - especially LW, EssexGirl,Penpin and Penblwydd Hapus to Mr Bitsy :D
