I have put this elsewhere, but thought would be better to put it in here.
I have just realised (not sure why i have just realised now) that my bank account is not on my credit report with at least two of the credit reference agencies. All of my other borrowing, mortgage, cards, other bank account etc is on their and is correct.
Just curious if anyone else has had this issue, and whether it is a problem?
Just for information, I have been with said bank which is not on the report for 18 years, and the credit card with the same company is on my reports.
thanks

That's why really old accounts are not reported on at the CRA. Only newer accounts are reported. Not sure from which date, but if it's like 18 years ago then that's the reason.0

Thanks for the reply. Just further on what you said, the bank account does have an overdraft and always has had for varying amounts over the years.0

A company isn't obliged to record credit activity to any agency. Indeed, they can only do so after informing you. Most banks started informing new customers in approx 2000, which probably explains why yours isn't reported.
This thread deals with the identical problem0
