Uh oh, Trousers have gone down to £10!! So...... I have to find something £5 cheaper, or just ask my nan to tack the pockets of the trousers for me.

Yesterday when they checked my receipt on one clothing shop, and I asked for one clothing voucher to be accepted at CS, she said you have used vouchers already, I said they were tesco clubcard vouchers and she gave me that oh yeah, whatever look. So I always exchange without a receipt and dont always return them to the same store.

Can I share some good news - hope you don't mind, the roof is being put on the extension this week and as I have chatted to you all about it, especially charlene, littlebill, poundsinbucks and thriftyboots and Coupon mad I have attached a picce.

This shows my 4 little welshies waving from what will be my new bedroom window ! (the extension is bigger than the house and we have planned this for over 4 years hence my excitement that it is finally being done)

Thanks goodness I will have more storage space to put all my clothing bargains in

Wow welshy, its looking fab, its great to see, I love hearing things like that, I will take some before and after photos of my bedroom, pre tesco and tesco :rotfl: and let you have alook what every little help means, it also inspires newbies to stick at it, as its definately worth the hard slog

Today I took some items of clothing back to exchange, and even to exchange, because the value of the goods returned was over £20, the approval of a manager was needed!! The returned items were still the same price I had 'paid' for them, but the stuff I had selected to exchange them for had been reduced in the system but not on the tickets yet. Are you still with me? So... ended up with a small cash refund for the difference after SA very quickly glanced at receipt. :D

Have another couple of items to exchange, but will do that at another store me thinks :rotfl:

I might end up doing this. I must admit I've never had a problem getting a refund, but I just don't want to draw attention to myself.

i took a suit back for an exchange - didn't realise that the reciept was in the bag and she pulled it straight out and dissappeared, along came the manager who scruitenised me about my coupons, I said it was my sisters, he said an exchange only so I said i will let her know, I took it back to a massive home plus with out the reciept for an exchange and the lovely lady didn't mind one bit - probably could have refunded the whole thing but seeing as i only paid 2.50 for the suit and a load of shopping..........................................
I only use the original store for purchasing with coupons :D
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there
    (meaning under the buggy lol):D

  • Hi everyone!
Im just wondering if anyone has any of the £6 spring vouchers valid at the moment that they wouldnt mind sending me? I can send an SAE or swap for £2 toiletry/beauty or £2 make up vouchers.
My idiot brother now tells us he needs new trousers for a family party next week, I could have done another clothes shop when the other spring were out last week but there wasnt anything else I really wanted, so decided to leave it. grrr... never mind. I already have blue and quit, but the savings would be better with some spring!

    TIA
