Selling a Nissan Cabstar dropside truck
Hi
I moved over 200 miles to my new home and have decided not to continue with the business I used to run. I have a 1994 Nissan Cabstar 2.5D dropside truck to dispose of and hoping that someone may be able to advise me where best to advertise to sell.
There used to be a lot for sale on ebay and autotrader but from the very small numbers advertised there now, this is no longer the best place to sell.

This is not an advert - just looking for genuine advice as everything seems to have changed since I bought the truck off Ebay 4.5 years ago. There were literally dozens of older trucks for sale then, now just a handful. I'm thinking that there must be a recommended place to sell a good truck.0 -

I would say that makes them the best place to sell. You're better selling where there are fewer of a particular model than having 100's of competing sellers of the same vehicle.0 -
Autotrader is your friend here, but with the age of the pick-up you will have to hope that some enterprising person is just about to set up a gardening business or similar.
Best of luck.0 -

Looks like a lot of Nissan Cabstar dropsides on ebay to me ..."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -

as someone that took their first driving lessons in a 1980s sunny i get the feeling someone could have a much worse start to their gardening businessAutotrader is your friend here, but with the age of the pick-up you will have to hope that some enterprising person is just about to set up a gardening business or similar.

Lol - not a vehicle to take your driving test in but you will have to look hard to find a better cabstar of this age - even the seats are not ripped. The problem with selling this type of vehicle is the number of sad timewasters they seem to attract - I would want to try to avoid that but they are absolutely everywhere lurking like cockroaches:-)0
