    What has that to do with your post advising the OP to use their own insurer over a PI claim?

    If you use your own insurer, then they will get a commission from the "specialist" they pass it on to!!

    So why not cut them out and go direct (and get a money saving cash payment - though smaller than the insurer would get), thereby cutting the costs for the rest of us - which is what you seem to want???

    You are quite right Quentin it will not maximise the potential claim that an individual may obtain.

    The system works just fine.
