This is not for you to judge and in any case the OP had already addressed this in the first post.In any case, in your shoes I would have taken the call. What if your father had had a fall, or taken ill thru the stress and needed you urgently !!
You have clearly not considered the many other reasons that someone might need to leave their phone switched on using their usual home network's SIM card. Your comments also come across as being somewhat insensitive.0
