3pm football on tv via firstsportsrow

Hi guys

A couple of questions.

I usually play football on a saturday but this may be my last season so I will be looking for a replacement 3pm saturday thing to do!

I sometimes watch games via firstrowsports on the internet.

First of all, is this illegal?

Second of all, could I get this through my television and ..

thirdly, could I improve the quality?

Im currently on virgin media and get around 8-9mb internet.

Thanks
I've just started entering the competitions (July 07). When I win I'll update this signature. Look on the bright side, I shouldn't have to update it very often.

The terms of UK football rights sold to sky and espn prohibits them from showing any 3pm Saturday games. It's due to the FA believing that screening 3pm Saturday games would damage the number of paying fans at these games.
Overseas satelite companies do have the rights to show games. However the only one that shows all PL games including 3pm kick offs is abu dhabi. This unfortunately isn't recieveable in the UK.
There are other options which you can check out that broadcast some footie matches but you'll need a satelite dish, reciever and card. This starts at £300 upwards. With an annual cost of £100 +.

To answer your second question. You probably can't improve the quality as once you have over 1mb it's more to do with the quality of the upstream - the person that is uploading it rather then you downloading it.
To your first question. This streaming company are breaking licensing deals and FA copyrights. If the site gets discovered by the FA online law firm they'll get closed down.

Not sure on the legalities of it all, but you could get it on your tv if both your laptop/PC and Tv have a HDMI socket.
Buy a hdmi cable, not very expensive, if i can remember rightly the one i bought was less than £10 and does the job. Plug the cable in and hey presto, whatever is on your laptop is screened on your tv. I am sure there are other ways of doing this but worked for me.

Also, i believe that there are numerous websites like this and so if one doesnt show a particular match/sport others will.
