Hi,

I am on a 18 mnth contract on gbp 30 per mnth scheme with o2 and have completed my 6 mnths.

I am now getting transferred from Uk and want to know what is the best way to save paying 30 x 12=360 pounds to get out the contract.

Pls suggest how i can minimise the cost as 360 is tooo much! Had no idea i would get transferred!!!

Thanks for ur help!

Have you tried ringing them up and finding out? with some other networks, if you wanted to pay the remainder of your contract you would receive something like 5% off.

Where would you want it transferred to? I think it might be better to get it on hold.

No, I don't think you can transfer it to another person.

However, what you could do though is, give the phone to someone like a family member (parents?) to use whilst you are out of the country. Just make sure that there is enough money in your account for the direct debits to come out. Maybe get the family member to top up your bank account when it gets low?
