Been searching for a new phone, i want a smartphone with unlimited 3G broadband so i can visit youtube and surf the internet. The Samsung Galaxy Europa seems to fit into everything i need i am really looking for opinions if this really is a good deal.

Found on Omio, provider 3 £13p/m (Says on the homepage 16p/m though...)comes with:
calls 300 mins

5000 texts
unlimited broadband
24mth contract

Looks to me like a good offer if it really is 13 quid a month.

Advice, opinions. please, thanks.

It's all right but that's about it :o
Slow processor, low RAM, small screen, I would opt for that on PAYG only.

I read because of the smaller screen it was able to work just as fast with the processor it currently has.

Go into a store eg O2 store and have a play with it, they are £33 on PAYG , so the deal for the 24 months is far from attractive.
The processor speed will affect running applications and a sat nav will make good use of the hardware, it will do the job.

The reception is relevant to the network coverage in the areas you wish to use the handset. It's not a bad unit, but yesterdays technology.

The Europa is a poor phone by todays standards
Many apps wont work on that low res screen

Go for a Galaxy Ace or something, thats a comple of models up, far better, no more expensive

if you're going to go for europa it may be better buying it on payg. I got my fella one for his bday last year and it was only £50.

I certainly wouldn't want to be tied into a contract with one

The Europa is, as said, an older handset. My first Samsung was an Apollo which was same price but better spec than Europa.

I would seriously look at alternative PAYG handsets and go sim only. Certainly, for the same money over 2 years, you could get a better deal.
