  • Windy, cold and dark skies sums up the weather here today:( stripped the kids beds to wash as the sun was shinning when I woke up. Will just TD them.

Fallen off the wagon spends wise. Car needed a new exhaust and a service OH can do all but £186 for all the bits and bobs so think I have gone into my OD  now I do have about £170 in another account that I put £20 a month into so I could move this to my main account to cover it. OH gets paid monday I think so I might have a look at the figures and see I need to use this spare money.

Annoyed though because I was being really carefull not going into OD.

Never mind olympics start tonight and we ae having a mini feast while watching it. Going to have potatoe skins, onion rings, garlic bread, chicken wings, chicken bites, Piza and fizzy juice (well I am having Gin;)) Kids are excited about staying up late to watch it.

  • Loved the opening ceremony last night, kids stayed up and enjoyed the food and the flag waving.

Yesterday I went to Lidl and spent £14 and the FF where I spent £3.

OH had to spend more money on the car:( about another £60 and he needs a tyre so thats another £50:( bang goes any savings this month. Still we are lucky that it's parts only we pay for and OH does get a samll discount but still....

I did clean my kitchen from top to bottom yesterday but it means today I am in pain and shattered so I think a day in bed is needed.

I needed to sew DS bed sheet as there was a samll tear so i did that in my bed.

Still need to check the bank so will try and get that done as well.

  • Took the kids out today for a run in the car and a good long walk.

Took a picnic to limit the spends but we did still spend.

£6 on 2 wee souviners (SP)
£9 on 2 dif car parks
    £20 petrol
£15 on a MCD's as too tired when we got home.

I am in agony today after walking about and running about with the kids :( but I have had painkillers and I am in my bed.

Kids are feeling sick but I think they have been having far to much rubbish so going to have a week of eating healthy things :) lets see how llong this last :rotfl:

Checked the bank went into OD by only £39.90 :j:j:j:j not ideal but I shouldn't be charged for this as OD charges only kick in after £300 of the OD has been used.

checked OH wages and he had all his OT plus a bonus (not massive but approx £200) so all should be ok and I shouldn't need to touch the £600 I moved into our savings account from my wages, I still have a SO of £250 to go into the savings account from OH wages for all in all this month I am hoping £850 was our savings.

Still need to get kids uniforms but parents pay for shoes and that tends to be the biggest expense.

I know I have said it before but I am going to try and change my eating habits to see if this helps my fibro. Going to have a mooch online to get some ideas.

  • Went food shopping today, Wait*ose, Li*l, As*a. Can't remember how much I spent but I think it was under £60 will need to check my receipts.

Did a washing and hung it out. Kitchen is tidy and so is living room. DH is doing the kids room :T

Dinner is burgers and wedges tonight with colslaw yum yum.

  • hey :)

A change of diet sounds good. Eating healthy always helps with energy levels and even more so with things like fibro. Our local library does books on it (saw them when looking for something else!) so you could perhaps look at your local library before buying one to make sure it's something you could do at home :)

Well done on the savings it's coming along nicely. xx

  • Thanks debtfreewannabe321

I am going to the libary at the end of the week with the kids so will have a look. I have also had a look on my kindle to see if there are any free books but so far haven't seen anything.

    Spends for yesterday were

    Li*l £12.98
    As*a £17.99
    Waitr*se £31.11

Forgot ham yesterday so OH will pick that up on his way home.

Was feeling awfull this morning so spend it in bed but up now and not feeling so bad.

Going to do a washing, tidy kitchen then cook dinner which is meatballs and spaghetti.

Need to also get the kids uniforms but going to leave that till the end of the week. Will price it up online first so I have a rough idea how much it is going to cost.

  • Morning.

Up early this morning and feeling not to bad, hands are sore and so is my lower back but other than that i'm ok.

Been busy this morning, squared up my bedroom and the bathroom. Opened the windows upstairs to air the house a bit. WM is on but will need to TD is as it is not nice weather wise here. Pot of HM soup made and stewing beef in the slow cooker for dinner tonight.

As the weather is not that nice I might take the kids to get their uniforms today but will decide after lunch.

Still to get shoes, bags, lunch bags, coats and stationary:eek:

But at least I have started.

  • Nice day here for a change.

Washing basket is full so I am on my 4th load. One has been TD and put away :j one is hanging outside, one is in the basket waiting to go in the TD and one is spinning away in the WM.

Only have 1 load left in the washing basket and thats is it done.

Small ironing pile but nothing much.

Spent £4.91 in Li*l today and £5 in boots.

Got some paper work tidied up but still loads to do.

The PPI company I contacted have sent me through the forms so need to have a look at that at some point.

Back to work Sat/Sun/Mon :( so want to get as much done as possible.

OH has had 2 hour OT this week and we are hoping for another 4 hours by the end of the week.

Right off to have some lunch then going to check the bank and also have a look at where we are with our debts.
