Happy easter to all, hope you enjoy your eggs! I'm allergic to chocolate, so will scoff some percy pigs later in celebration!
Tonights dinner will be steak and mushroom pudding, but will need to raid ikea for a new steamer as mine has gone awol! WM number 2 is on with work clothes, at this rate mount ironmore will be touching the bedroom ceiling!

Happy Easter:easter:

had a nice slow morning - finished my book off in bed with a cuppa and then got up and did some housework while the house was quiet - on my knees under the furniture in the lounge - laminate flooring doesn't half gather some dust!

washing is on the line - damp here but looks like it might clear up.

Had a nice afternoon yeserday - I took my paints and went and painted outdoors for the first time at a site overlooking Ludlow Castle, I really enjoyed it although my reynauds meant I couldn't stop long as my hands froze.

Not sure what we are doing today yet. Roast chicken later and then need to take DSs GF home.

Miffy (((hugs))) hope it goes ok at your Mums house - it will be hard for you to be there but try and think of the good times x x x

Happy Easter everyone! Wish I could post what I'm making for tea but I'm with family where Mum is very much in charge of cooking and doesn't like help. Completely understandable as I am the same, very quick and efficient in the kitchen with intricate timings! I think we're having lamb though.

I've been home a few days and mostly just doing uni work and visiting family. I can't wait til my dissertation is finished!

Morning all,
Haven't been here for nearly a month, the days just seem to fly by, been so busy with DGD2 aged 3 and DGD3 aged 5mths. Also been sorting out DD2's garden, cutting back 3 huge trees but at least we have loads of logs for winter.
Having a 4 bird roast and all trimmings for dinner, just made the yorkshires and got HM chick stock out of the freezer, DH is prepping the veg.
I can't catch up on the last months posts so I'll send ((hugs)) where needed. Hope you all have a Happy Easter.

I haven't given out the Easter Eggs yet but I will do when everyone is up :EasterBun
Spitting with rain here, we need every drop we can get, so I don't really mind.
Dinner is Roast Turkey and all the trimmings (Roasted it last night so only the veg to do this morning:D)
DS has just taken our little doggy guest ( My friend's springer spaniel who is a real cutie, we have him every time she goes away:D) for a walk they both need the exercise.
DH has just made me a another coffee He made me chuckle this morning when he made himself an egg and cress sandwich for breakfast ...one of his faves especially with HM crusty bread, so he is a very happy bunny
jools :eek:allergic to chocolate:eek: Mind you I am not supposed to have any for medical reasons, but a teeny bit should be okay

Good Morning everyone and a typical bank holiday weather it is as well rain and chilly,I feel for the seaside traders as they rely on this week-end to get some cash flow in.
Just pottering around at the moment I will be going to DDs later with eggs for the boys and a nice M&S one for Dd as her Dad always bought her one,she may be 44 but she's still my little'un:):)
Had a nice relaxing lie-in this morning (well till about 8 which is good for me) and now I'm just about to stick my coffee pot on, and I will have a Hot x bun and butter with it.I hope you all have a good week-end what ever you are doing,despite the rain

P.S. Meant to say yesterday when we got to St Pancras we thought a side trip to the British Library was a must as its only just down the road. Blooming thing was shut all day. Grr, so we are going back after my spring holiday as it really is a brilliant place to visit(I have been before with my Uni class on a field trip)But the hotel tour was great .cheapest room it minute and only £290 plus vat and no breakfast per night !!!
terrific statue called 'The Meeting Place' in the station by Paul Dayits done in bronze and well worth a look

We had a good "Seder" [passover meal] on friday night........ate too much and enjoyed spending time with the family.....

Summer has arrived .....yesterday it was 35 degrees outside and I had to put the air conditioning on to cool the house down when we came home yesterday evening........ Have resisted so far this morning but it looks like it will need to goo on again soon today........

Morning all,

Been raining all night but seems to have blown over now, its a bit overcast though.

Confession time we started our easter eggs last night :rotfl:, but its ok will eat some more today to make it ok

Dinner tonight is steak sandwich, will do some garlic mushrooms to go with it, dd will have a veggie meatball sandwich.

Need to get some more bits listed on Ebay today, doing well this week, up to £140 and not finishing till tonight :j, will all go in our holiday fund, I like to get about 5 good bits on a week, and the money really helps.

Miffy hope today goes wellxx
