bulk proof of posting form

I meant to post this in its own thread, but I forgot.

This is a bulk proof of posting for up to 30 items. It has the advantage that the official stamp is on the front so if you need to upload a copy to paypal to defend a bank chargeback the PO stamp is visible regardless of where the address is on the form.

Also, should you wish to retain the info, the Royal Mail will accept a photocopy.
This form has the advantage of being much quicker to process at the counter. It's also better for the ecology.

The bulk form is absolutely great. I posted on here months ago after a successful ebaying weekend and was sent a link to it.

The local PO hadn't seen one before but were delighted at how little time it took to process all 25 of my parcels. The only problem I have is to keep all of the parcels in order so they can tick them all off.

I tried this last week and the only downfall is you dont know how much each individual item has cost so i have no idea whether i charged the correct postage,to much or not enough on certain items

You wouldn't know that either if you used the POP pads as I used to do. Anyway, I know how much all my stuff costs as I have scales and a gauge at home and stamp all my items before I drop them off at the local office.

Im not a business seller so dont have the equiptment u do so i think i will just stick to how i have done it before and just get POP rather than using the form, although it is quicker.like to make sure ive not overcharged on postage and like to know that ive charged enough and not made a loss so if i sell something similar next time around i can make sure im charging the correct P+P

You don't have scales? Is hubby to be a whizz in the kitchen?
If you put your parcels over in order of weight, your receipt will show the prices. Simple to work out which is which.
Or you could just keep on letting the people behind you wait.

I used to find accurately weighing items a pain, so I bought a couple of gadgets from China, via eBay - one wall mounted hook to weigh parcels up to 40gk and a more accurate flatbed set to weigh up to 1kg (both take a couple of AAAsize batteries).

They only cost around £3 each including postage and the flatbed is about the size of a digital camera and has been found to be especially accurate (it's the type used to weigh the gold content of jewelry). They've lasted pretty well too.

You could argue that they were an avoidable cost, but having a set of scales right next to the PC is so convenient to accurately work out the postage prices for overseas destinations that I feel it's been money well spent.

I just have a set of basic Cookworks scales, cost me around £5 from Argos and are incredibly accurate. They are right here in front of me along with a plastic gauge for sizing. Unless I knew my postage prices I couldn't really sell.
